    Summary

    King Alfred's Way is a superb mountain biking or gravel biking adventure in the south of England. Cycling in Hampshire, riding the Ridgeway and biking along the South Down's Way are just some of the highlights. There is an amazing amount of off-road riding in this area of England and this fantastic biking holiday will lead you past Stonehenge, Avebury Stone Circles and Old Sarum hill fort. 

    Each day is different on this biking adventure in the south of England, from the Salisbury plains to the Surrey Hills and from the North to the South Downs. The route follows gravel tracks and trails and is mainly off road. Whilst the terrain is not too technical and is suitable for gravel bikes or mountain bikes, there are plenty of up's and down's to keep you interested.
